Bad News For My Stories...

Guess who does't have any free time to write anymore! ME! :D D: I WAS planning on participating in Camp NaNWriMo this month...

Turns out life said NOPE! So now I have to make some money, and soon! As such, I will- hopefully -be opening up an etsy shop soon to sell some of my handmade goods. What does this mean to you? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING UNLESS YOU WANT A LINK TO THE STORE!

The Runner: A Sort Of In-Between Story & CDs Anyone?

In preparation for Stolen and as a gift to someone I know in real life, I have begun The Runner. Like Stolen, it is an interactive story. It is set some time after Stolen and will follow your exploits as a Runner (think the game Mirror's Edge except you're working against the massive corporations instead of just one big totalitarian government).

You have to get from point A to point B, gathering tape recorders along the way. The tape recorders are optional, but give you extra insight into the world you are working in. Not to mention they up your score; useful if you decide to use guns instead of just getting past those chasing you. After all, your job is not to kill, but get from point A to point B.

If interested, you can play the game HERE.
PLEASE NOTE THE GAME IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT!

If you have any questions or you spot a typo please contact me at: MirielleSlayton@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE THAT THAT IS NOT MY REAL NAME! I SHALL NOT BE GIVING IT OUT UNLESS I HAVE TO.

Finally, I want to ask whoever may be watching this blog, to tell me by way of email or comment- I don't really care which way unless you decide to send hate for whatever reason -whether or not you'd be interested in having a CD-Rom version of any of my games.

The CD would have things like:
*The completed version of the game in an html file
*The Twine source file which you can check out to get a visual of how I set up my game and where I put my passages.
*The audio files I used for the tapes so you can listen to them if you don't want to go through the game itself and choose the right paths every time.
*Pictures I used as references or put into the game.
*More if I can think of anything else...

The Beginning Of Stolen: The Interactive Story

Okay, first REAL post away!

In preparation for Camp NaNoWriMo I have started the workings of Stolen. I haven't actually started the meat of the story yet, seeing as I have to wait until when it starts on April 1st, but I have posted what I have to dropbox.

Stolen will update starting on the first of April and you will have the chance to go through it as I update it. Which will be frequently. Still, I hope that whoever may be watching me work on this will spur me on in comments and various other ways as I tend to lose steam after the first week...

Before you click on the link below, PLEASE, be aware that, while it IS avoidable, Ross(the main character) CAN in fact end up getting together with another male. Ross IS of legal age but, if the thought of such a thing bothers you(however avoidable it may be), please DON'T click on the link.

First Post!

My first post on a brand new blog...And I have no idea what to say! I'm more used to writing about fictional things than myself...

But, I guess I should start off with the basic "Hello", and work my way up to saying that this will primarily be the place I come to to organize my various projects and things. It will have updates on my current works as well as hopefully host some completed stories. Either my novels or my interactive fiction stories made with the (FREE!) program Twine.

For those interested, Twine can be found HERE.
